I'm Daniel A Lofti — a documentary filmmaker and video editor with over a decade of experience in film and television.

Born in the Faroe Islands, I grew up drawn to stories that felt real, urgent, and human. That instinct has shaped everything I've made since.

Over ten years I've worked across documentary, broadcast, and branded content — editing campaigns for Viaplay, producing a five-part documentary series broadcast on Kringvarp Føroya, and presenting work at BBC Outreach. My edit on a Viaplay series promo contributed to a production that went on to win an International Emmy Award. As a producer I was nominated for a Promax Award for Best Newcomer.

Through Alofti Visuals I work with brands, agencies, and businesses on documentary film, branded content, and remote editing retainers.

My current film, Walking Men, is a feature-length documentary asking one of the most important questions of our time — are we actually helping men the right way?
